Actions for Folders
Right-clicking a folder opens its context menu. The context menu enables you to perform the following actions:
•Copy the folder name
•Copy the full path of the folder
•Open the folder and its contents in Windows Explorer
•Delete duplicate files from the selected folder (which is also possible via the toolbar, the Delete key and the Diff and Merge menu)
•Delete all other occurrences of files in the selected folder (which is also possible via the Diff and Merge menu)
Delete duplicate files from selected directory
Selecting the option Delete Duplicate Files from Selected Directory (screenshot below) opens the Delete Duplicate Files dialog.

The Delete Duplicate Files dialog (screenshot below on the left) shows the path to the selected folder and, if applicable, files that can be deleted automatically and/or manually. If a file has duplicates outside of the selected folder, the file can be deleted automatically from the selected folder (in our example, the selected folder is C:\MadBookwormsLtd\CopyFiles\Accounting), and the file's duplicates from other folders will be preserved.
You can check the paths of the files to be deleted by pressing the Show button. Pressing the Show button opens the Files dialog (screenshot below on the right). To copy the list of files or save them to a text file, press the Export File List button at the bottom of the Files dialog.
If all the duplicates of a file are located in the selected directory, the Delete Duplicate Files dialog will also inform you about the files that can only be deleted manually. Press Show to see the list of these files. You can also copy the list or save it to a text file, by clicking the Export File List button.
Clicking Yes in the Delete Duplicate Files dialog will delete only the files listed in the Delete Automatically group; the files that can be deleted only manually will be ignored.
Delete all other occurrences of files in selected directory
If a file has duplicates outside of the selected directory, you can delete these duplicates using the option Delete All Other Occurrences of Files in Selected Directory. If you select this option, the Delete Duplicate Files dialog (see above) will pop up, inform you about the duplicates that will be deleted, and ask for confirmation.
Pressing the Show button opens the Files dialog (screenshot above on the right). To copy the list of files or save them to a text file, press the Export File List button at the bottom of the Files dialog.
If you click Yes in the Delete Duplicate Files dialog, the file in the selected folder will stay intact, and all of its occurrences outside of the selected folder will be deleted.
If all the duplicates of a file are located in the selected folder, the duplicates will not be reported and will not be deleted.
