Validate
The Validate 
( F8 ) command is available in both the Text View and Grid View of File Comparison windows. It enables you to validate the active XML document against a DTD, XML Schema, or other schema. The associated schema must be declared in the file being validated. On validating the document, a message box displays the result of the validation: that is, whether successful or not.
