Moving Licenses to a New LicenseServer
To move licenses to a new LicenseServer, do the following:
1.Make sure you have the original license files that you uploaded to the old LicenseServer
2.If you have a Failover LicenseServer, disconnect it (by clicking Disconnect Failover LicenseServer in the Settings tab of the Primary). Otherwise, the Failover will take over the licensing operations when the Primary is uninstalled
3.Deactivate all licenses on the old (Primary) LicenseServer
4.Delete all licenses from the old (Primary) LicenseServer
5.Uninstall the old (Primary) LicenseServer
6.Install a new (Primary) LicenseServer
7.If you want, reconfigure the old Failover to be the Failover of the new Primary
8.Register your Altova products with the new (Primary) LicenseServer
9.Upload the license files to the new (Primary) LicenseServer
10.Assign the uploaded licenses in the new (Primary) LicenseServer
