Buscar archivos duplicados
The Find Duplicate Files tab enables you to configure delete operations, alerts, and other options for duplicate files. For details, see the subsections below.
Directories
This setting enables you to specify whether directories that become empty after you delete duplicate files should automatically be deleted. Note, however, that directories may look empty if they contain hidden files. If this option is selected, only empty directories without any hidden files will be deleted.
Confirm
This option specifies whether DiffDog should ask for a confirmation when you delete an item. By default, this option is enabled. Files and directories (except for files and directories inside ZIP archives) that are deleted from your local drive will be moved to the Recycle Bin. Remote files and directories from URLs can only be deleted permanently, in which case you will get a notification to that effect.
Modification alerts
This option specifies whether you should get modification alerts. This option is shared with the Modification Alerts option of the Directory Comparison tab. Navigate to the Directory Comparison tab to change this option.
Show file content
When this option is selected, you can open a file of interest in an external application, by double-clicking the file. For example, an XML file will automatically open in Altova XMLSpy if it is your default editor of XML files.
